Terms of Service

The agreement for using Red, authorising scans, and how scan data may be used.

Last updated: October 23, 2026

About your scan data

We store your scan traces and reports so you can see them. We may use anonymised versions, with anything identifying you or your site removed, to train AI models or sell as datasets. Your identifiable data is never sold or trained on.

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Small Scale Labs AB (we), Sweden, for Red by run.cloud at red.run.cloud. You must be at least 18 and authorised to accept them, including for any organisation you represent. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. Only scan what you are authorised to test

Submit only sites you own or have explicit permission to test. You authorise us and our providers to request, inspect, and test the site you submit, within the scan you choose. You are responsible for that permission and for complying with the law. Do not use Red to access others’ systems or data, disrupt services, or do anything unlawful. We may ask for proof of authorisation, refuse a scan, or stop one that looks unsafe or unauthorised.

3. Accounts and payment

Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. The price, taxes, and what the scan covers are shown before you pay. A paid scan is a one-off purchase, not a subscription. A completed scan is not refundable, except where mandatory law gives you a right of withdrawal or refund; where starting the scan straight away would affect that right, we ask for your consent first.

4. Your content and scan data

You keep all rights in your sites and in what you submit. You let us process it, and the data returned by your scans, to provide, secure, and support Red. We store scan traces and reports so you can see them.

You also let us create anonymised data from your scans, with credentials, secrets, and anything identifying you or your site removed, and use it to train AI models or license or sell it to others. We never sell, publish, or train on your identifiable traces or findings.

5. Reports and their limits

Reports are yours to use for your own lawful purposes. A scan is a point-in-time check: it can miss issues, report false positives, or contain mistakes in AI output, and a clean report is not a certificate of security. Testing can trigger alerts or put load on a site; plan for that.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Red is provided as is, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the greater of EUR 100 and what you paid us for Red in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit, including mandatory consumer and data protection rights.

7. Ending, changes, law, and contact

You can stop using Red and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach, unauthorised scanning, or non-payment, with notice where practicable. We will give notice before material changes to these terms take effect.

Swedish law applies and disputes go to the courts of Stockholm, unless mandatory law lets a consumer use their home country’s law or courts. Contact: support@run.cloud, or Small Scale Labs AB, Agavägen 19, 181 55, Lidingö, Sweden.
